Sol is a sweet and playful 8-month-old female Labrador mix, weighing 16 lbs and expected to reach 32-38 lbs. She has a happy, energetic personality and loves to run, jump, and play, especially with her favorite dog toys. Sol is social with other dogs and people, approaching strangers with curiosity and confidence. She also enjoys affection and cuddles. Sol does not show any aggressive behavior and, while she may be initially cautious in new situations, she is never aggressive and does not bite. She is a joyful girl ready to grow and learn with a loving, active forever family. Please note that rescue dogs may require an adjustment period and patience to build trust.

Training & Support
Sol is not house-trained. It is understood that rescue dogs may not be potty trained. Patience and understanding are crucial for rescued dogs as they adjust to new environments and people.

- Submit an adoption form.
- Provide photos/videos of your home.
- Participate in a virtual home tour and interview.
- Provide 1-2 personal references.
- Sign an adoption contract and pay the adoption fee, which covers veterinary care, vaccinations, microchipping, and food.
Transportation
Sol is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on a cross-country trip. Door-to-door delivery is available for a one-time fee of $400 USD. Transport is scheduled 3-4 times per year with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. A contracted transport company will bring pets across the border into Texas for US adoptions, or to the nearest US-Canada border for Canadian adoptions. Real-time updates will be provided via a private Facebook Messenger group.
