Meet Popi, the happiest little survivor!

Popi was abandoned on a rooftop with two other dogs. Thanks to a kind animal welfare officer, she was safely brought into care and finally given the vet attention and food she desperately needed. Once she joined us at the shelter, she has not stopped smiling since!

This sweet girl is learning to walk on a leash, is extremely friendly, and absolutely loves attention. She's happy, social, and full of gratitude, ready for a home where she'll never be forgotten again. Popi has come a long way and is ready for the love and stability she always deserved. Transportation

Popi is located in Puerto Vallarta. Approved adopters are matched with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home. It can be challenging to secure flight companions during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable. We have successfully completed many adoptions with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border, which remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward.
