About McGinger

McGinger is a darling little Chiweenie mix with a beautiful coat of white, brown, and black. She has a charming resemblance to a tiny beagle and is currently about 6 weeks old and 4 pounds. We anticipate she'll grow to be a sweet adult dog weighing between 16 and 20 pounds. She's one of six playful puppies and, despite some gentle teasing from her brothers, McGinger prefers a cozy nap over roughhousing. She's a curious and courageous pup who is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves to play. McGinger adores her foster mom and patiently waits for her turn to receive cuddles. She's dreaming of a home with a comfy bed, plenty of belly rubs, fun backyard adventures, and a family to love forever.

Ongoing Health

McGinger will receive age-appropriate vaccinations and will be microchipped before transport. Our rescue does not spay or neuter puppies until they are about 6 months old. We do offer adopters a $100 rebate once this procedure has been completed.

Training & Support

McGinger will benefit from being adopted by a dog-loving person who understands she has so much to offer but will need a little time to adjust and settle in with her new family.

McGinger is currently being fostered near Houston, TX. She can be transported to your area via our rescue transport service, which runs once a month.
