MASON

Hi there! I'm Mason, a sweet and affectionate 6-year-old boy weighing about 55 lbs. I was found as a stray and spent a long time at the shelter, which was quite scary for me. Thankfully, I'm now in a foster home where I'm learning to trust humans and become braver every day! My foster families say I'm one of the sweetest fosters they've ever had, greeting them each morning with a wiggly body and a toy in my mouth. I love attention, hanging out with my people, and getting pets!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a patient and loving home where I can continue to build my confidence. I'd do best in an adult-only home or a home with older children, as I can still be a bit of a scaredy-cat at times. I'm learning to be brave and explore my neighborhood, and I'd love a family to continue this journey with.

Ongoing Health

I have been neutered and am up to date on all vaccinations. I'm generally healthy and don't have any known medical conditions.

Training & Support

Great news – I'm already potty trained and crate trained! I don't chew on things I shouldn't and I'm a good boy in the car, happy to go for rides. I love to explore and sniff, so plenty of opportunities for walks and scent adventures would be wonderful! While I used to enjoy doggy playgroups, I'm not currently socializing with other dogs in my foster home. I'm still learning to trust, and it takes me a little time to get to know new people, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I'm a friend for life!
