Tri Tip

Tri Tip is a handsome 1-year-old male Akita/German Shepherd mix with a medium-length black and tan coat. He's a large boy who was rescued as a stray and is looking for his forever home, and also needs a foster home. Tri Tip is still learning to trust, and while he can be nervous and barrier reactive, he is a sweet and gentle soul. Once he trusts you and is on a leash, he's a wonderful companion. He's already mastered 'sit', 'down', and 'shake', walks beautifully on a leash, and takes treats gently.

Ideal Home

Tri Tip needs a patient and experienced adult owner who can help him feel safe and loved. It is unknown how he would do with other dogs, cats, or children.

Tri Tip has not been altered.

Training & Support

Tri Tip is barrier reactive and can be nervous. He needs an understanding owner who can provide structure, patience, and love to help him overcome his fears.
