Meet Del Mar! This handsome 2-year-old, 49lb fellow is a true testament to the power of love and care. Del Mar arrived as a stray, having had a rough start that left him emaciated and injured. But thanks to some dedicated attention, he's blossomed into a spunky and outgoing dog with a bright new outlook on life! He's no longer the shy pup he once was and is ready to embrace his future with enthusiasm. While he's shown he can get along with other dogs, he can be a bit cautious around new canine acquaintances, which is completely understandable given his past.

Ideal Home

Del Mar has done okay with other dogs, but a meet-and-greet with any resident pets is highly recommended to ensure everyone is comfortable.

Ongoing Health

Del Mar has been neutered and is up-to-date on vaccinations. He arrived in poor condition but has made a full recovery with veterinary care.

Training & Support

No specific training needs were mentioned, but given his past, patience and understanding will go a long way in helping him continue to build confidence.
