ABRA- Needs a foster/forever home!

Abra is a sweet and playful Lab mix with a heart full of love to give! Estimated to be born around June 1, 2023, she was rescued by the police from an abandoned house in terrible conditions. Thankfully, she's now safe and blossoming, showing more of her wonderful personality each day. Abra is a high-energy girl who would make an excellent companion for walks or runs. She's looking for a family to cherish and love her forever.

Ideal Home

Abra would do best in a home with children 15 years and older. She may be good with other dogs after a slow introduction, but her compatibility with cats is unknown. A totally enclosed, physically fenced yard is required for her to safely play and enjoy her time outdoors.

Ongoing Health

Abra is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. She is also on monthly heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Abra is crate-trained. She is looking for a family that will provide her with the love and security she deserves.

Application Details:

• Applications to adopt or foster Abra start by contacting us through Wags.
• All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes.
• We do not do same-day adoptions.
• A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and gets along with your resident pets.
• We require all dogs over one year of age to attend one obedience class (a 6-week session) outside the home.
• You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI, to adopt one of our dogs.
• No out-of-state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters.
• Abra's adoption fee is $300.
