Dionysus

Dionysus is a big, handsome puppy who arrived with a large wound on his head. Thankfully, after a few weeks with us, he has fully healed and is ready to find his forever home! He's a very smart boy and knows many commands, though he can get a bit jumpy when he's excited. His signature move is a special "rolling pin" roll-over that he's sure to impress you with. We think he's an absolute genius, especially with those adorable toe beans!

Training & Support

Dionysus is a smart boy and knows many commands. However, he can get a bit jumpy when excited.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• All household members should be present to meet dogs.
• Dog-to-dog meet-and-greets can be arranged. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your current dog(s) is required.
• Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after allowing the shelter dog time to decompress.

Transporation

Dionysus is located at Chicago Animal Care and Control at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL. They are open daily from 12pm to 7pm. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to adopt the same day, please arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm can still view animals until 7pm.
