Meet Chap!

This handsome boy has been through quite the journey! Chap was a fan favorite in Upson County, and when his time was up, we couldn't bear the thought of him not making it. Even though we really didn't need another 70 lb black pittie mix, we're so incredibly glad we saved him!

Shortly after arriving in Atlanta, a kind woman who had previously rescued Chap in Griffin reached out. He had been wandering her neighborhood for some time before she took him in and found his owner, who unceremoniously refused to take him back. Determined to keep him safe, his guardian angel found him what was supposed to be a loving home. Unfortunately, that person also decided to abandon him, and he ended up as a stray at the Upson County shelter.

Now that all of those trials and tribulations are behind him, Chap is ready to find his real true FOREVER HOME! He is amazing with all other dogs and has a special talent for helping puppies. He's also incredibly sweet and absolutely loves toys! The woman who originally found him reported that he was wonderful with her 4 and 9-year-old children. So, who's ready to show this amazing and resilient boy what true love really is?
