Dottie Sue is a 2-year-old, 33 lb pittie mix who is a personal ray of sunshine! She is all wiggles, kisses, confidence, and excitement, with a personality that fills a room and an enthusiasm that makes every day feel like an event. Between her goofy antics, endless love for her people, and her unique talent for throwing a ball for herself, Dottie is one of the most entertaining pups you'll ever meet. She approaches new people, places, and adventures with joyful confidence, making her an easygoing companion for any outing. Her favorite hobby is anything involving balls – she has a special game where she throws a rubber ball into the air and chases it herself! She also loves tug toys, durable chew toys, and has a knack for "destroying" stuffed animals. Dottie is incredibly social and playful with other dogs, and while she loves to play, she does best with confident canine companions who can either match her energy or politely let her know when it's time to wind down. Due to her enthusiastic nature and tendency to chase, a kitty-free home is recommended. Dottie is crate-trained, potty-trained, rides well in the car, and settles nicely at night. She walks well on leash and handles new situations with confidence, making her a great candidate for road trips, hiking, or simply enjoying a day out. While energetic, she has a wonderful "off switch" once her exercise needs are met, and loves nothing more than cuddles and belly rubs.
Ideal Home
An active family with a securely fenced yard and plenty of opportunities for adventure. She would do best with older children, as her enthusiastic greetings might accidentally knock over very small humans.
