Oliver

Oliver is an 11-month-old Great Pyrenees mix who is 100 pounds of pure happiness, enthusiasm, and questionable spatial awareness. Oliver came to us as a baby with detached retinas and other serious vision issues. Thankfully, thanks to surgery and dedicated care, Oliver can now see! He has responded to this amazing gift by deciding the entire world is wonderful and everyone in it is his friend.

Oliver loves people, dogs, and life itself! While he would absolutely love to have feline friends, he cannot live with cats. His affection is expressed with the enthusiasm of a giant puppy, and cats typically prefer their adoration to be a bit more subdued.

Ideal Home

Oliver would be happiest in a home with another active, playful dog who is seeking a best friend and won't be offended by a large teenage dog being a large teenage dog. He needs a fenced yard to safely explore, play, and supervise his kingdom. This outstanding dog is a great fit for a home with children over the age of 8.

Ongoing Health

Oliver has had surgery to address detached retinas and other vision issues. He can now see, though his vision may not be perfect.

Training & Support

Oliver is well-mannered in the house and rides well in the car. He is a sweet, social, and affectionate boy who is committed to the belief that playtime is a legitimate lifestyle.

Oliver is located at our rescue in Greeneville, TN. We can arrange transport to a willing adopter within a reasonable distance.
