Jack Jack is a total heart-stealer who is ready to blossom into your most devoted companion! He is the definition of a "hang out" dog once he knows you're his person; he is all about being by your side and soaking up the love. Whether you're relaxing with a book or moving through your daily routine, he's happiest just being part of the pack and following your lead with a wagging tail. We believe Jack Jack is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, he has that endearing look that makes everyone stop and say "aww." He is only 22 lbs, a manageable size, compact enough to be your favorite travel buddy but big enough to give the world's best hugs. He's already mastered the art of the afternoon nap; he just needs your living room to make it official. He is currently thriving in a foster home where he's learning all about the good life! Jack Jack shows us that he is a total pro when it comes to domestic bliss. He's been a gentleman in his crate and handles car rides like a seasoned traveler, quietly taking in the sights. Being in a foster home has allowed his gentle, sensitive side to really come forward, proving he's ready for a family of his own. When it comes to other dogs, this boy is a total rockstar! He is incredibly polite and respectful, making him a dream addition to a home with existing pups. He has a "go with the flow" attitude. While he'd love a home with a low to medium energy buddy to show him the ropes, he can also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the undivided attention himself! Curious about how he feels about feline friends? He's been a total gentleman! He is very respectful of their space and has shown a wonderful ability to just relax and coexist. We even caught him lounging on the couch right near a kitty friend without a care in the world! Since every cat has its own unique "cattitude," we'd love to see how he does in a sleepover with a feline to make sure they're destined to be best buds. This sweet boy doesn't need a massive yard to be content; he just wants a quiet neighborhood where he can sniff the roses at his own pace. One of his cutest traits? He is an A+ student when snacks are involved and is a complete gentleman during mealtime! Ideal Home

Jack Jack would love a home in a quiet neighborhood where he can sniff the roses at his own pace. He can thrive as an only pet or with a low to medium energy canine companion. He has proven to be very cat-friendly.

Ongoing Health

Jack Jack is current on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. He has also been heartworm tested and treated if needed.

Training & Support

Jack Jack is a crate-trained, well-behaved boy who handles car rides like a seasoned traveler. He is an A+ student when snacks are involved and a complete gentleman during mealtime.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $1,000, which includes all vetting, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a Martingale collar, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, and transport costs.
• Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.

Transporation

We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport is available for an additional $87 surcharge.
