About Geronimo

Geronimo is a sweet, active, and handsome Newfoundland who is about 1 year old and ready to find his forever home! He gets along with everyone and is described as not being a fighter. Geronimo is a healthy boy with a shiny coat, a correct bite, a soft face, and a distinguished white chest. He is crate trained, leash broken, and has proven to be a good traveler, getting in and out of the car with ease. He's currently at a stage where he needs some gentle reminders on manners, but he's eager to please and not difficult to work with. While he didn't jump on me, he did jump on a fence at one point. He has stayed in the front yard, even when unfenced, and has shown no inclination to wander. Geronimo is being rehomed through no fault of his own, and he's considered an older puppy.

Geronimo would thrive in a home that can provide him with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement for his training.

Ongoing Health

Geronimo is healthy and has a shiny coat. He will see the vet before he leaves and will have received proper vaccinations and deworming. While he appears sound, final hip and elbow x-rays have not been completed.

Geronimo is crate trained and leash broken. He may benefit from some "manner reminders" and consistent positive reinforcement to help him continue to learn.

Geronimo is located in St. Cloud, MN. He can be picked up there, the breeder can meet you halfway, or Geronimo can travel to you.
