Toms

Hi there! My name is Toms, and I'm a sweet, 3.5-year-old boy who's ready to find my forever home. My foster parents call me "Happy Slappy Tail" because my tail never stops wagging! I love car rides and going for walks, and I'm a champion cuddler. My previous family adored me, but sadly, things changed, and now I'm looking for a new family to shower with love.

Ideal Home

I'm a mellow boy at heart, but I do need some help getting my exercise! I'd love to have some doggy friends to play with or an active human who can keep up with me on walks. I can be a bit of a handful for smaller people when I'm out and about, so a home with a confident walker would be purrfect.

Ongoing Health

I have epilepsy, but it's well-managed with medication given every 8 hours. It's a liquid, so it's easy to mix into my food! While I'm on my medication, I'm a happy boy. However, during a seizure, I need my space. The vet says I'm not aware of my surroundings, so it's important for everyone, including other dogs, to stay clear until I've recovered. These seizures are brief, and I'm back to my cuddly self in no time!

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie and would benefit from continued exercise and positive reinforcement to help me manage my weight. I'm still learning how to be the best walking companion, and I'm looking for someone patient and understanding to help me grow.
