Chance

Meet Chance, a sweet and soulful 4-year-old neutered and vaccinated Staffie mix. Chance was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Houston after being found abandoned in an apartment. He has an "old soul" quality, evident in his gentle eyes, and is a perfect blend of sweet, goofy, and loving. He always seems to be wearing a big smile and is ready to brighten your day!

Ideal Home

Chance would thrive in a loving home with a relaxed, predictable routine. He would do well in a family with older kids who can handle his energetic play style, and would enjoy a canine companion of similar size to share playtime with. He would also be content as the beloved only dog, receiving all the attention. Due to his strong prey drive, cats are not a good fit for Chance.

Chance is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Chance is a smart boy who learns routines quickly. He is fully house-trained and has great house manners. He can be a little stubborn when focused on something like squirrels, but his love of treats makes him a great candidate for continued training. He also has a funny habit of "reminding" you when you're running late by grunting at you in the doorway. He is not a fan of closed crates but is happy to nap in open crates or anywhere comfortable.

Transportation

Chance is currently with our rescue partners in Houston, Texas. Transports to our adoption locations run every few weeks. He will be on the next available transport once approved.
