Baron is a handsome 1-1/2-year-old Australian Shepherd weighing 50 pounds and looking for a forever family to call his own. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, making him ready to start his next chapter. Baron gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion, though he would also do well as an only dog. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he simply needs a little time and patience to build trust. Once he gets to know you, Baron forms strong bonds and becomes a loyal companion. This sweet boy is house trained, kennel trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He has a calm, gentle personality and tends to be more of an introvert than an extrovert. Baron would much rather spend quality time with his people than be the center of attention. One of his favorite ways to beat the Texas heat is splashing around in a kiddy pool. Like many dogs, Baron is not a fan of thunderstorms or fireworks, but with a safe and comforting environment, he settles well. If you're looking for a loyal, well-mannered companion who will reward your patience with unconditional love, Baron may be the perfect match for you.
Ideal Home
Baron would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. He prefers quiet time with his people and may be a bit shy when meeting new individuals, so a patient and understanding home will be key.
