Meet Jimi Hendrix!

Jimi is a 42lb Lab Mix with an estimated birthday of December 2, 2025. He's the perfect blend of cuddle bug, adventure buddy, and comedian, guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on everyone he meets. With his beautiful brown and tan coat, soulful eyes, and incredibly gentle nature, it's impossible not to fall in love. His foster describes him as the gentlest dog they've ever had the pleasure of caring for, and once you pick him up, you'll understand why – he turns into a total wet noodle and melts right into your arms!

Jimi enjoys making new dog friends and playing, while also being respectful of other dogs' boundaries. He's met cats and reptiles and is generally unfazed by them. However, due to a natural prey drive if startled by sudden movements, slow introductions and supervision with smaller animals are recommended.

Ideal Home

Jimi has been vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Jimi is house-trained and crate-trained. He walks wonderfully on a leash without pulling and happily comes when called. He is still learning basic commands like "sit" but is eager for treats and will thrive with positive reinforcement. Like many young dogs, Jimi is curious and loves to investigate the world with his mouth, so providing appropriate chew toys will help keep him entertained and out of mischief.
