Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy with a gentle soul. Benson's journey began after a difficult experience in Texas where he was hit by a car. He's since undergone a leg amputation and is now learning that humans can be a source of comfort, kindness, and even treats! He's a master of car rides and has been a perfect gentleman during all his vet visits.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm and low-traffic environment. He's looking for a home with children over 12 who understand and respect a dog's space. Loud or boisterous youngsters might be a bit overwhelming for this sensitive boy. Due to his tripod status, a home with minimal stairs is preferred to ensure his long-term comfort.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod and has had a leg amputation. He gets around well, but a home that accommodates his mobility will help keep him comfortable.

Training & Support

Benson is already potty trained and rides beautifully in the car. He's not a dog who needs constant attention; he's happy to be in the same room, observing and enjoying your company from a comfortable distance. He's a lower-energy guy who prefers a peaceful life.
