Apple Cider

Apple Cider is a sweet and gentle young female Pit Bull Terrier mix who would make a wonderful addition to an active family! She absolutely adores children and was a huge hit at a recent baseball game. Cider has had a bit of a rough year, having been surrendered back to a shelter after a child in her previous home developed an allergy to her. Despite her past experiences, she remains loving towards everyone she meets. She is house-trained and walks beautifully on a leash.

Cider would thrive in a home where someone is present most of the time, as she doesn't like to be alone. A family that works from home or has someone home often would be perfect for her. While she would do best as the only dog in the home initially, she may be able to socialize with friendly, calm dogs after she's had time to decompress from the stress of the shelter environment. She ignores cats and would be a great fit for a family with children of any age.
