Meet Gordo, a 69 lb. bundle of American Bully sweetness with a head that's as big as his heart! He's a gentle, thoughtful, and quietly charming soul who absolutely melts for affection and belly rubs. Gordo is a relaxed, low-energy boy who goes with the flow, but he also has a playful side and enjoys a good game of tug-of-war. He's met a variety of dogs and approaches them with friendly confidence, preferring to observe rather than be the center of attention in playgroups. He's shown he'd do best with dogs his size or larger, ideally a calm, aloof female companion.
Ideal Home
Gordo would thrive in a home with a steady, confident person who can guide him as he continues to learn. He would do best with older children and can no longer live with cats.

Training & Support
Gordo has basic leash skills but can be strong due to his size, so he'll need someone who can confidently guide him on walks. He's very food motivated, making training a joy, and he responds well to positive reinforcement. He would do best with someone familiar with bully breeds who can channel his enthusiasm into good habits.

Transportation
Gordo is located in Texas. We offer nationwide transport with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a dedicated Facebook event page for adopters. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
