If Charlotte had her way, she'd spend every waking moment splashing in water. Kiddie pools, puddles, sprinklers -- you name it, she's all in. This goofy girl is packed with personality and keeps everyone around her laughing. Charlotte loves playing with other dogs, but she's also perfectly happy entertaining herself when needed. She's curious about absolutely everything and always wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. Getting ready in the bathroom? Charlotte is trying to find the best vantage point to supervise. Sitting somewhere she can't reach? She's already searching for a way to climb up and join you.
She's incredibly smart and eager to learn. Charlotte watches other dogs closely and immediately starts copying whatever they're doing -- especially if treats are involved. If her foster sister earns a snack for a trick, Charlotte is right there trying to teach herself the same thing. She even likes to hold her leash on walks and occasionally grabs her foster sister's leash too, fully convinced she's the one taking her for a stroll!
Charlotte has also never met a stranger. She does wonderfully with new people and children, greeting everyone with enthusiasm and affection. At a recent graduation party with more than 80 guests, she happily made the rounds introducing herself. When several young children approached her for pets, she immediately rolled over for belly rubs and gently followed their commands like a pro.
Charlotte is confident, social, and loves getting out and about. She thrives on adventure, loves trips to the dog park, and is comfortable meeting new people and exploring new places. This girl would absolutely flourish in an active, high-energy home that can keep up with her zest for life and give her plenty of opportunities to play, learn, and explore.
