Meet Helen! This delightful 35lb Kelpie, Dingo, and American Staffy mix, estimated to be born around April 16, 2021, is a true ray of sunshine. Helen's journey is a testament to second chances; after finding herself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter, she was thankfully rescued by Sunnyside Street Dogs and blossomed in a loving foster home. Now, she's ready to bring her unique blend of playful spirit and devoted companionship to a forever family.

Helen is an energetic and athletic girl who adores a good game of tug-of-war or fetch – and she's a champion ball retriever! When she gets going, her joyful zoomies are a sight to behold. But don't let her playful energy fool you; once the fun is done, Helen transforms into a snuggle expert, happily curling up with her favorite people at night, even on the bed. She has an abundance of love to share and is eager to become someone's loyal best friend. Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
• Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
• Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
• Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
• All of our adopters are invited to join our “Alum Pupdates” Facebook group, to share their story and their adorable pup with fellow Sunnyside Street Dogs adopters!
