Trixie

Meet Trixie, a 3-year-old German Spitz and Pomeranian mix who weighs around 20 lbs. She's a sweet girl who has been working on building her confidence and learning to trust new people. Trixie absolutely adores playing with other dogs her size and zooming around in a securely fenced yard. She's a smart cookie who keeps her crate clean and understands it's time to go in when her foster mom needs to leave. While she's a bit shy with new people, Trixie truly shines when she finds her special someone to cuddle with. She's hoping to find a home that understands her breed and can offer the patience and calm environment she needs to truly blossom. Trixie has already been spayed, received a dental cleaning, and is up-to-date on her vaccinations and microchipped.

Ideal Home

Trixie would thrive in a home with another confident dog of similar size to help her build trust. She needs a calm and patient environment. Due to her sensitive nature, Trixie should not be in a home with young children, as she may snap if she feels threatened or cornered.

Ongoing Health

Trixie is spayed, has had a dental cleaning, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations and microchipped.

Training & Support

Trixie is still learning to trust new people and will need continued patience and positive reinforcement. She is generally good about using her crate when left alone.
