Hi there! I'm Rusty, a sweet and laid-back boy with a heart full of love to give. You might notice I only have one eye, but don't let that fool you – it doesn't slow me down one bit! I absolutely adore snuggles, and my tail wags like crazy when I know a walk or a tasty treat is coming my way.
I'm currently living in a foster home with a fantastic family that includes kids, cats, and another dog, and I get along with everyone beautifully! I'm not a big guy, weighing in at around 40 lbs, and the vet estimates I'm just a few years old. While I did have to have an eye removed due to an injury I sustained on the streets, I'm a very healthy pup and ready for a happy, active life. I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved, and I pay great attention on walks, always eager for a reward. My calm and easygoing nature makes me a wonderful fit for almost any family. I've been doing wonderfully with school-age children, other dogs, and cats. After my friend and I were abandoned and injured, I'm so hopeful for a second chance at a loving home. My gentle spirit and affectionate heart make me a truly wonderful companion, and I'm ready to bring so much love and comfort to my forever family.
