Meet Boone! If you're looking for a best friend who can fit in your lap, your passenger seat, and your heart, Boone is your guy! Boone is an 8-pound Chihuahua mix, estimated to be between 1 and 3 years old. He's the perfect blend of playful and cuddly-always ready for a game of fetch with his favorite squeaky toy, but just as happy to curl up beside you for a nap. This little guy is the total package: kennel trained, walks well on a leash, great in the car, and very social. He loves adults, kids, and other dogs! Boone has lots of playful, young pup energy and isn't bothered by storms or the vacuum. He's almost fully potty trained with only an occasional accident. Boone has a sweet, gentle personality and a face that's impossible to resist. You may notice some purple coloring on his coat. This is believed to be from a spray used to treat bite wounds before coming into rescue. Boone is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. All he needs now is a family to call his own. Ideal Home
Boone would thrive in a home that can appreciate his playful yet cuddly nature. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Boone is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered. You may notice some purple coloring on his coat, which is believed to be from a spray used to treat bite wounds before coming into rescue.
