Buttercup

Buttercup is a very sweet girl, but she can be a little shy at first. She'll need a few days to warm up and feel safe, but once she does, you'll see her sweet personality shine! Buttercup is wonderful with other dogs and also does well with older children aged 7 and up. Because she can be a bit timid, we recommend a home without very young children who might be too loud and startle her. She's never shown any aggression towards people or other dogs, but loud noises might cause her to run or hide. She is already house-trained with a dog door and crate-trained.

Ideal Home

A patient home with older children (7+). Buttercup would do best in a home without very young children.

Ongoing Health

Buttercup will be up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and heartworm negative before adoption. She receives monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative (age-appropriate) and is regularly dewormed. She is also microchipped.

Training & Support

Buttercup is dog door and crate trained. She may run or hide from fear of loud noises.

• If you live in a rental property, a copy of your lease stating pets are allowed is needed.
• If you've had a pet in the last two years, provide your previous vet's information.
• If you've never owned a pet or it's been over two years, provide a personal reference.

Buttercup is located at our rescue center at 34 County Road 2266, Brundidge, AL 36010. We are not open to the public without an appointment.
