Bark Twain (Neutered) (Photos 4/24/2026)

Bark Twain is a handsome adult male American Bulldog mix, estimated to be around 2 years old. He arrived at our shelter on April 23, 2026, after being found as a stray. Bark Twain has a striking white shorthaired coat with black/charcoal patches on his back and left side, as well as at the base of his tail. His adorable face features a black/charcoal patch around his left eye, a blue/charcoal nose, and short, floppy ears. He was a good sport for his photoshoot, even sporting a bandana! When he saw another dog, he became very alert and seemed to pose for the camera. Bark Twain is a substantial boy, likely weighing 70-75 lbs, and he can be energetic and strong on a leash. He was understandably distressed when he first arrived, missing his family and his home.

Ideal Home

Bark Twain would do well in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. He is energetic and strong on leash, so a home prepared for a larger, active dog would be ideal.

Bark Twain has already been neutered.

Training & Support

Bark Twain can be energetic and strong on leash, so continued leash training would be beneficial.
