If you're looking for an active, intelligent companion who's always ready for an adventure, Balto may be your perfect match! Balto is a 14-month-old Boston Terrier mix with energy to spare and a zest for life. Whether he's out on a walk, keeping a watchful eye on the neighborhood squirrels, or entertaining himself with his favorite chew toys, Balto is always ready for fun. Athletic and agile, this impressive boy even boasts an incredible vertical leap that will leave you wondering if he's secretly part kangaroo!
While Balto loves attention from his people, he's not the type of dog who wants to spend all day snuggled on the couch. He prefers quality one-on-one time with his favorite humans, whether that's exploring the outdoors, playing with toys, or simply hanging out nearby. He's very much still a pup and continues to learn the world around him with enthusiasm and curiosity. Balto is crate trained and thrives on structure and routine. With a consistent schedule, he does very well in the home and has only occasional accidents. He's a smart boy who enjoys knowing what's expected of him.
Ideal Home
Balto gets along with other dogs but appreciates having his personal space respected. He would do best with calm, dog-savvy canine companions who understand boundaries and aren't constantly in his face. Because of his prey drive and love of chasing critters, Balto is not a fit for homes with cats or other small animals. Because of his energy level and impressive agility, Balto will need a securely fenced 6-foot yard, or a commitment to multiple daily leash walks and exercise opportunities.

Balto is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on preventatives.
Training & Support
Balto is crate trained and thrives on structure and routine. With a consistent schedule, he does very well in the home and has only occasional accidents. He's a smart boy who enjoys knowing what's expected of him. Balto is looking for an active family who will embrace his energetic personality, continue his training, and provide the physical and mental enrichment he craves.
