Peanut may be tiny, but don't let his size fool you—this little Chihuahua/wire-haired terrier mix has a BIG personality! At around five months old, Peanut is a playful, goofy, tail-wagging machine who is fully committed to living life as one big adventure. Peanut is the kind of puppy who turns everything into a game. Got a toy? It's his favorite. Got another toy? Also his favorite. Got a sock? Well... that might be his most favorite. He loves to bounce around, play tug, and zoom in happy little circles like he just discovered joy for the first time (every single time). His playful energy is contagious, and it's nearly impossible not to smile when he's around. He's also wonderfully social and loves being part of the action. Whether you're playing, moving around the house, or just existing nearby, Peanut wants to be involved. He's curious, silly, and full of that classic puppy mischief that keeps life interesting.

Ongoing Health
Peanut is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and has been spayed/neutered. He is also current on flea prevention and received a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable. A health certificate deeming him healthy for travel is included.
Training & Support
Because Peanut is still a baby, he'll need a family ready to commit to all the important puppy basics—potty training, structure, patience, and lots of positive reinforcement. He's not going to come pre-programmed, but that's part of the magic. Watching him learn and grow will be one of the most rewarding experiences.

Transporation
Peanut is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
