Hazel is a sweet-natured girl, a Shepherd mix weighing in at around 45 pounds, who is ready to melt into your life and become your most loyal companion. She's a rescue gal, so her breed and final size are educated guesses, but her cuteness is 100% guaranteed! Hazel is the ultimate partner for someone looking to add a smart, gentle, and highly motivated best friend to their family. She's a true shadow who lives for human connection and forms a special, once-in-a-lifetime bond. Hazel's personality fills the room; she's the perfect blend of social butterfly and focused friend. She's currently thriving in a foster home with other dogs and a 4-year-old child. Although she can be a little reserved when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with slow introductions and is usually everyone's best friend by the end of a playdate. Hazel genuinely loves being around other dogs, greeting them politely on leash and then showing off her curiosity and friendliness. She prefers running alongside her canine friends, acting as a co-pilot rather than engaging in rough play. She is a loyal sidekick, crate trained, and ready for her next adventure.
Ideal Home
Hazel would truly thrive in a home with a yard where she can stretch her legs and explore. She loves having her own space to roam, play with her favorite toys, and hang out with her favorite human. Hazel is looking for a home without feline friends so she can shower all her attention and affection on her human and canine companions.
