Meet Smokey!

Smokey is a handsome 5-year-old blue Pit Bull who came to us from local animal control and is now hoping to find the forever home he's been dreaming of. At just over 40 pounds, Smokey is the perfect size – big enough to be your best buddy, yet compact enough to fit comfortably on the couch, which just so happens to be one of his favorite places to be. This incredibly gentle boy wants nothing more than to be loved. Give him a soft spot to curl up, a few scratches behind the ears, and he'll be your loyal companion for life. Smokey has the most soulful eyes, the kind that tell a story and make you instantly want to wrap him in a hug. Despite whatever life may have thrown his way, he remains sweet, affectionate, and eager to connect with people. He doesn't seem to mind cats and has shown potential to live with them. As for other dogs, Smokey is still figuring out how he feels.

Ideal Home

Smokey may do best as the only dog in the home or with a calm, easygoing canine companion who will respect his space and help him build confidence.
