Meet Mia, a brave and beautiful mama dog whose story is one of heartbreak turned into hope. She was rescued after being found tied up outside, desperately needing care for herself and her puppies who were unfortunately discarded. Despite the trauma, Mia is now a sweet, playful, and loving companion who is great with other dogs. She's likely a cattle dog/heeler mix, and after healing and resting, she's healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home. Mia gave everything to protect her pups, and now it's her turn to be cherished. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion with a survivor's heart, Mia is ready to meet you.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta.
• You will meet your new pup at the airport to welcome them home.

Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We adopt dogs to the US and Canada. During the summer months, transportation to Canada may require meeting at the US/Canadian border at Peace Arch Park if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable. We have successfully arranged adoptions with volunteers meeting adopters at the border during summer months.
