Himari is a sweet 10-month-old Terrier mix, currently weighing around 22 lbs and expected to reach about 33 lbs. She was born at our shelter after her pregnant mother was rescued. Himari is a gentle, affectionate, playful, and loving pup who is learning to trust people, though she can be a bit shy and nervous around new faces. She absolutely adores running and playing with her doggy friends.
Ideal Home
We're looking for a family with an open heart and mind regarding the needs of rescued animals, understanding that they require patience, protection, and education. Experience with dog behavior and training is highly valued, as is a high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies. Please realize that Himari may have been traumatized before coming to us and will need an adjustment period in her new home. Patience and understanding are a must. Himari is NOT house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Himari has been spayed/neutered and is up-to-date on her DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines. She has been dewormed, microchipped, and tested negative for heartworm. She receives monthly Nexgard Spectra for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. A health certificate and vaccination booklet are included.
Training & Support
As Himari is not house-trained, this will be a primary focus for her new family. Please understand that our rescued pets are not potty trained. We invest significant time and effort into rehabbing their health and emotions, but it is impossible for us to house-train every animal due to the sheer number we care for.
