About Chiva

Chiva is a calm, cuddly, and mellow 10-year-old Portuguese Podengo with soulful brown eyes and a soft wire coat. He's around 35 pounds and was returned after several years in a home due to the passing of his owner. Chiva is perfect in the house, loves a good belly rub, and enjoys people, especially bonding with men.

Ideal Home

Chiva would do best as an only dog, though he could potentially tolerate another calm senior. He is not a good fit with cats, and children can make him uneasy. A fenced yard to potter around in and some soft spots to nap near his people would make him a very happy dog.

Chiva is neutered and vaccinated.
