Riley

Riley is an estimated 1-year-old, 43-pound sweetheart who is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She was found as a stray and is now in a foster home, eagerly awaiting her forever family! Riley is a happy, full-of-life dog with a playful spirit and a loving nature. She knows "sit" and "shake" and is eager to please her humans. She has a goofy charm, with her tongue often hanging to the side, reminding us of Stimpy from Ren & Stimpy! Riley is super friendly, confident, and curious, and is sure to bring endless joy to her adopter.

Ideal Home

Riley would love a home with a backyard where she can run and play, or an active family who will take her on adventures. She also adores the company of other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion her size to share playtime with. Due to her moderate-high energy and playfulness, a home with older children would be ideal.

Riley is healthy, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Riley is potty trained and crate trained, sleeping in her crate at night and letting her fosters know if she needs to go out. She's also great about sharing her food, toys, and treats with other dogs, showing no signs of resource guarding. While she's still learning to walk calmly on a leash and can pull with excitement, she also walks nicely by your side at times. With patience, she'll master this in no time!

Transporation

Riley is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX. She is eligible for transport to an adopter as soon as one is lined up. Due to border patrol restrictions, adopters will be required to cross the border and meet in Blaine, WA to receive their pup.
