Meet Sandcastle. I (Cathy Meek) have been breeding Shetland Sheepdogs for over 30 years. I do show my dogs in AKC conformation shows adhering to the betterment of the breed by trying to improve with each planned breeding. I do this for myself first, however not all puppies are going to make show dogs. The others will make excellent pets, obedience, agility, rally or any other performance venue out there. Puppies are raised in the home, they get a lot of attention. All are sold on limited registration, a mandatory spay/neuter agreement and a gaurantee of tempermant and genetic health rendering it unsuitable as a pet. There MANY backyard breeders that are breeding poor quality pets, stating dogs have hips, eyes etc. done and they do not. Ask questions, ask for "proof". Located in Arizona.
