Kismet is what we like to call a velcro dog with a side of professional relaxer. He is the king of the check-in; while walking on a leash, he'll constantly peek back at you just to make sure you're still having as much fun as he is! While he's definitely your shadow, he also has a sophisticated work-from-home mode. He's perfectly happy to settle down right at your feet and serve as your unofficial foot warmer while you tackle your emails. He's not just a dog; he's a lifestyle upgrade! We see a blend of Pit Bull Terrier, and 100% adorable! At 76 lbs., he's big enough to be a powerhouse during tug-of-war, but just soft enough to convince you he's actually a lap dog. Like all the best rescue surprises, he's a unique masterpiece you won't find anywhere else!

Kismet is a sensitive soul who warms up to ladies instantly and takes just a tiny bit longer to decide which guys are cool enough to join his inner circle. He has made it clear that he is not a fan of feline friends. To ensure he stays his happiest, most relaxed self, he is looking for a cat-free kingdom where he can be the undisputed star of the show. The ideal home for Kismet? A place with a yard where he can zoom to his heart's content and practice his pouncing! Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy or a Netflix and chill companion, Kismet is ready to fill your home with laughter and a whole lot of leaning.

Ongoing Health

All vetting is included in the adoption fee, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Kismet is fully crate and potty trained! He treats his crate like a private, cozy den. He is a gold medal toy retriever. Kismet is a total pro at the "walk and wave," happily passing other dogs on the sidewalk with a wag.

Transportation

Kismet is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Our transport includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick-up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real-time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, and connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page!
