Holt is doing well with typical puppy behaviors, but as with all puppies, he will benefit from consistent training and socialization. Be prepared for the usual puppy needs: flexible schedules for potty training (he can hold it for approximately one hour per month of age), crate training until he's about a year old to prevent chewing, and ample positive socialization experiences. Raising a puppy is akin to raising a toddler, requiring at least a year of patience and effort to help them grow into a well-adjusted adult. This includes providing appropriate toys, socialization, and obedience training, which can be time-consuming and costly.
