Rusty is a handsome 1-year-old Husky/Aussie mix with a heart as big as his smile. After being rescued from the euthanasia list, he's been given a second chance, and now he's looking for the forever family he deserves. Rusty is the perfect blend of playful and affectionate. He loves spending time outdoors, especially with a rope toy, but once he's burned off some energy, he's happiest cuddled up with his people. Being with his humans is his favorite place, and he's always ready for a snuggle or just to hang out by your side. He's a smart boy who enjoys learning. Rusty already knows "sit" and "come," and he's quickly mastering "stay" and "lay down." He's potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, travels well in the car, and settles in his kennel at night. He will bark to alert you if someone is nearby but is not an excessive barker. Rusty has a loyal, loving personality and would make an amazing companion for a family seeking a best friend. Whether it's playing in the yard, going on adventures, or relaxing together after a long day, he's ready to be part of it all. He has already overcome so much in his young life, and now he just needs someone to show him what it truly means to be loved.

Training & Support
Rusty is a smart boy who loves to learn and has already mastered "sit" and "come." He is also potty trained and walks well on a leash. He may bark to alert you of someone's presence but is not an excessive barker.
