Bert

Bert is a handsome, 5.5-month-old Great Pyrenees with a confident and food-motivated personality. He spent his early months on a farm, so he has had plenty of exposure to various animals, including cats, sheep, turkeys, ducks, chickens, and cows. While he has farm life experience, Bert is better suited as a beloved family dog rather than a working farm dog. He's ready to find his forever home and become your new best friend!

Ongoing Health

Bert will be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. He will also be current on flea and heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.

Training & Support

Bert is food motivated, which can be a great asset during training!

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• An adoption interview/meet and greet will occur via video call.
• The adoption fee for out-of-state adoptions is $300 plus transport (which varies by location). This fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter (for pets 6 months & older), and a heartworm test (if over 6 months old).
• RTB reserves the right to deny any application deemed unsuitable for the animal. Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis; the goal is to find the best possible home for each animal.

Transporation

Our dogs are fostered in Texas but are available for adoption and transport out of state to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport.
