Ginger is a resilient and gentle soul with a heart full of love, still hoping to find her forever home. Rescued from the streets of Houston with her puppies, Ginger bravely fought distemper, a virus that temporarily took her mobility. With incredible care from her foster, she not only survived but regained her strength and agility. Now, over a year into her recovery, Ginger loves to run and play with other dogs, showing off her joyful spirit. While she may have some residual jerky movements, they don't stop her from enjoying games of tag and chasing her furry friends! Ginger forms deep bonds and loves to be near her people, enjoying quiet companionship and playtime. She's especially fond of canine buddies and gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. She's a calm, quiet companion with a soft, silky coat, and is sure to steal your heart.

Ginger is a survivor of distemper and has residual tics and jerky movements. She has made a full recovery and is agile and mobile.

Training & Support

Ginger is a quiet and shy companion. She is content to follow you around or curl up for quiet companionship. Trial periods are welcomed for potential adopters.
