Toaster

Meet Toaster, a delightful 2.5-year-old pup whose name perfectly matches his wonderfully bouncy personality! Toaster may have a unique way of moving due to a past spinal injury, but don't let that fool you – his spirit is as strong as ever. He's been working hard on his balance and coordination, and he's even mastering short staircases with impressive determination!

Ideal Home

Toaster is an enthusiastic boy who sometimes plays a bit too roughly for smaller children. He would do best in a home with older children who can appreciate his playful energy without being overwhelmed. He also seems to desire canine companionship and has been curious about other dogs in our care. We haven't seen him interact with cats, so a cat-free home might be best for now.

Ongoing Health

Toaster is heartworm negative and has no other known medical concerns beyond his mobility differences.

Training & Support

Toaster is still learning appropriate play manners, particularly when it comes to his enthusiastic mouthiness. He's never aggressive, but he does love to gently hold forearms! He's doing a great job keeping his kennel clean, so we're optimistic he'll pick up housetraining quickly. He's also surprisingly mellow on a leash, which is fantastic!
