Groot

Groot is the self-appointed Head of the Welcome Committee and Assistant Manager of your household. He's a 45-pound, long-legged goober who is equal parts backyard explorer, quality control specialist, and morale officer. Groot has enormous ears that are always listening, and he's convinced he's got everything handled. He loves spending time outside exploring, sniffing, and making sure the squirrels are in line. Groot absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion to share his adventures. He's a sweet, playful, and funny dog who learns quickly and genuinely wants to please. He has impeccable manners, is fully house and crate trained, and knows several commands. Groot is the kind of dog that quietly changes your everyday life, becoming the reason you smile when you pull into the driveway.

Ideal Home

Groot would love a home with another playful dog to keep him company. Homes with children 10 years and older are recommended.

Training & Support

Groot is fully house trained, crate trained, and knows sit, lay down, give paw, "go eat," "go outside," and "go for a walk." He learns quickly and responds beautifully to praise.
