Meet Flacko!

Flacko is a charming 8-month-old German Shepherd Dog mix, currently weighing around 40lbs. He's a neutered male with a heart full of love to give and a playful spirit ready for adventure. Flacko is a quick learner who genuinely wants to please, making him an absolute joy to be around. He's a certified good boy who adores people and gets along famously with other dogs. While he's eager to befriend the resident cat, his playful exuberance might be a bit much for some feline friends. Flacko has a special bond with his foster family's 10-year-old nephew, showing he'd likely do wonderfully with human siblings. After a fun-filled play session, he loves nothing more than to snuggle and show off his adorable belly for rubs. He's also a huge fan of splashing around in the pool and entertaining himself with his favorite toys.

Ideal Home

Flacko would thrive in an active home with an experienced adopter who can guide him with confidence. He enjoys playing with dogs of various sizes and would likely do well with children. He is still working on his puppy manners, such as jumping and leash pulling, and would benefit from supervision around younger children.

Ongoing Health

Flacko is neutered and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Training & Support

Flacko is house and crate trained. He is working on his leash manners and can be a bit excitable, so consistent training and positive reinforcement will help him continue to grow into a well-behaved companion.
