Reese is a 1-year-old, 59-pound Alaskan Husky with a joyful spirit and a gentle, affectionate nature. He was found on the streets of Harris County, TX, and taken to a busy shelter. Despite his rough start, Reese knows love and trusts people, his heart remaining wide open. He is excellent with people and other dogs, always eager to connect. Reese walks beautifully on leash, is treat-motivated, and knows how to sit, showing his intelligence and willingness to learn. He has a sweet habit of jumping up for pets, soaking up all the affection he can get. Reese loves being touched, enjoys hugs, and thrives on human connection. He would do well in almost any home, but an active one is preferred to meet the exercise needs typical of his breed. With an outlet for his energy, Reese will shine as a loyal and devoted companion.

Reese is up to date on all vaccines and neutered. He tested positive for heartworm but has started slow-kill treatment and is recovering.
