Dixon

Dixon is a playful, silly, and happy boy who loves to have fun! He was in a foster home in Texas after his person could no longer care for him. When Dixon arrived at HUA, he was discovered to be suffering from heartworm disease. His recovery was tough because he had to rest instead of playing, but he's all better now and ready to make up for lost time! Dixon loves his toys, walks on his leash, bounding around the yard, and soaking up attention from people. He's a social butterfly and a joyful pup. Dixon did great in his foster home and enjoyed the company of older children.

Ideal Home

Dixon would thrive in a home where he can continue to play and get plenty of attention. He will not be successful in a home with other animals.

Ongoing Health

Dixon has fully recovered from heartworm disease.

Training & Support

Dixon enjoys walks on a leash and knows how to bound about the yard.
