About Haku JuM*

Haku means "pure" in Japanese, and he truly embodies that with his pure, passionate, and overwhelming love for everyone he meets! Haku's world was turned upside down when his dad had to be stationed in Japan and couldn't bring him along. He misses his dad terribly and tries to fill the void by playing with other dogs, but it's just not the same. Haku is now hoping for a new family to scoop him up and show him what it feels like to be part of a loving home again. He's good with other dogs and loves playing chase or tug-of-war.

Ideal Home

Haku would thrive in a happy and active home where he can experience lots of love and fun. He can be a bit anxious and nervous around new people and in general. Slow introductions, a safe retreat space like a crate, and avoiding forcing him into crowded situations will help him feel more comfortable and be his true self. He is not recommended for homes with children under 8 and unknown with older children. He is also not a good fit for homes with cats.

Haku is not house-trained. He can be a bit anxious and nervous around new people. Slow introductions, providing a safe retreat space like a crate, and not forcing him into busy environments will help him feel more at ease.
