About Cherry

Cherry is a 20-pound bundle of pure energy and confidence! She's got the spirit of a bully breed packed into a pocket-sized package. Cherry is social and sweet, loves people and is great with kids. She also holds her own with other dogs, politely setting boundaries when needed. She's not content with just a walk around the block; Cherry needs a job! She would thrive with activities like hiking, FastCAT, Barn Hunt, trick training, or other dog sports that engage her busy mind. A couch-only home would be a disservice to this vibrant pup. She came to us from Newark AHS, and after finding shelter life challenging, she's now thriving and ready for her forever adventure. We even have DNA test results available in her photos!

Ideal Home

Cherry thrives in an active environment. A home that can provide her with plenty of stimulating activities like hiking, dog sports, or advanced trick training would be ideal. A purely sedentary lifestyle would not be a good fit for her.

Cherry is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Cherry needs a family who can provide her with mental and physical stimulation to match her high energy and intelligence. Engaging her in activities that give her a "job" will be key to her happiness and success.
