Meet Tanner! He's a 12lb Chihuahua Mix with a DOB of 11/26/23, and he's ready to find his forever family. Tanner is a sweet, sensitive, and affectionate little guy who enjoys playtime, exploring, and cozy TV time. He's also quite athletic and agile, with a big personality to match his size! Tanner can be vocal when excited or overstimulated, and he thrives on routine and consistency. He's working on his potty training and would do best with an adopter committed to walks or a fenced yard.

Ideal Home

Tanner would thrive in an active, predictable, and structured household. He prefers a calm environment and can be overwhelmed by loud or chaotic situations. He does well with cats and older children (8+). He's a bit nervous around large dogs and new people, so he would do best as the only dog or with a calm, respectful canine companion of similar size. A patient adopter who understands the needs of sensitive small dogs would be perfect!

Tanner is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Tanner is still transitioning to outdoor pottying and currently uses pee pads. He can be VERY vocal when excited, overstimulated, or adjusting to change. Consistency and positive reinforcement will be key to helping him feel secure and confident.
