Tonnie

Meet Tonnie! She's a delightful 2-year-old Australian Kelpie mix with a heart full of love, searching for her forever home through Wags. Tonnie is a sweet spirit who enjoys playing with other dogs or engaging with her toys on her own. She absolutely loves a good walk and has a blast playing in the yard. One of her favorite pastimes is catching a refreshing drink directly from a hose!

Ideal Home

Tonnie can be a little shy when first meeting new people, so she's looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to feel comfortable. Once she trusts you, she's incredibly affectionate, showering her loved ones with back scratches, belly rubs, and cozy TV snuggles. She has a gentle nature, especially when accepting treats.

Ongoing Health

Tonnie has some visual impairment, but it affects her very little. It's almost unnoticeable in familiar surroundings, though she might occasionally bump into things in new environments.

Training & Support

Tonnie already knows the "sit" command and generally has good recall, although it's not always perfect! She's done very well at the dog park and with other dogs, and she also enjoys pack walks. She has shown to be non-reactive around cats, though she hasn't had extensive interaction with them.
